Single wolves regularly attack single avatars and even more ridiculously large groups of avatars.

For a relatively high level avatar, this is a nonsensical annoyance and XP drain. For groups it is just silly having a lone wolf attack a mass of people.

AI should be adjusted so that lone wolves don't attack players. Packs of wolves, fine, makes sense.

This is especially true for timber wolves. Maybe high-level wolves like elder or Obsidian wolves should attack solo avatars. But even higher-level wolves shouldn't initiate combat with groups of avatars.

I have even been in combat with multiple adversaries (bandits for example) and had a lone wolf join in on the attack. Just doesn't make sense. Wolf would never do that.

I guess it comes down to how hungry a wolf is. A starving wolf would probably attack anything that looked edible in desperation. How hungry are the wolves when they respawn? Full or starving?

I just wish EVERY wolf wouldnt run away from my pet spider.
I dont mind chasing wolf, but man .. the tamed pets are annoying enough, they dont need mobs out running the leash as well.

Even a wolfpack usually stays out of a humans way.
So novian wolves seem rather hyperagressive at the moment.
But than again it's a fantasy game with talking cats, you know.

Maybe the lone wolfs are rabid and have been shunned by their packs. The cat's have to keep talking that is just such a great topic to write about in stories. :)

Something about the cataclysm and Obsidian magic has made the creatures of Novia more vicious than normal.

Haha I could almost get my dog to say "I Love You" couldn't make out his "You" but you could the rest. Then I stopped doing it, decided I didn't know if it was good for him to even do that.

To the OP if you stuff the wolfs head with garlic and lemon and bake until tender they are much more agreeable - or you can put it on your head, but that's a bit weird.

I'd like to see wolves competing against bears for killing/feeding rights. They seem way too friendly towards one another for my liking.
