    hi guys, last time I played Ultima I had a C64 with Ultima IV and later an Amiga with Ultima VI with cloth maps of Britannia on my bedroom walls and now years later a friend told me about Shroud of the Avatar & I'm soon to be back in Brtitannia once again :)

    Definitely won't have the time to invest in Ultima the way I once did but I hope to rekindle that rpg feeling which no other game could emulate for me!

    Welcome to the SotA family, Lupo! You'll find many, many Ultima fans here. I'll never forget playing my first one, Ultima IV, on my Apple IIe. One of the best gaming experiences of my life. SotA is already turning out to be one of my favorites.

    As RG said recently "this game will steal your life away".. and he wasn't kidding. I practically spend all my free time in New Britannia.

    OMG this comment just opened a portal to my 1986 mind where other than playing hockey my spare time was spent playing Ultima IV and this cost me my first 'real' girl friend cause she kept saying that I would rather spend time with Ultima IV then her and she was absolutely right LOL ...I could only dream of spare time nowadays with 2 young kids and the burdens of adult hood but that escape portal always beckons me....back.... be it for a short time into the abyss.
