[Resolved] Launcher not responding(step 2/6)

After a few days of unsuccessful download of the patch due to speeds slower than a 300baud dial-up modem, (had to get that in there) I finally established a connection in the 7-8 Mbps and got the download. NOW when I click Launch Game I am stuck at "Updating the Game...." " Step 2/6" "Downloading latest version information....". Even let it run for hours. Clocking, wheels spinning, whatever you want to call it when mouse-over.

Windows 10 freshly patched, Intel P9 Quad, 16G memory, GTX 960 video freshly patched, GOBS of disk space, hard wired to router, 60 Mbps internet... etc.

 

It sounds like something is locked such as the patch file.. You will be sad to hear 523 has just come out.. (Sorry so now theres another patch to get) .. forwarded for review 19/12/2016

 

523 was a small file... sorta, and ta 1Mbps it didn't take long BUT.... still no joy. Tried a couple more times and it was trying to patch 0 ->522 and hanging at different stages (4/6 5/6)
Came here at 3:10ct to report and saw 523 not 522 and mumbled a few things to myself. Launched again and this time it finished 523?? and started downloading and installing 523 ->524. This was just a short time after I closed the last fail.
