The only thing that bothers me about the whole pickpocketing dynamic is people's selective and subjective interpretation of 'exploit'.

It is possible to entirely protect yourself from pickpocketing even with mesmerize being OP and cc resist buffs being broken (supposedly the 1-count limit is an error).

Yah.....In discord you have a 360 degree "different" opinion on pick pocketing and messing. The trolling is strong with you

Unless you support blatant Pay to Win, there is little else that can be sold in the store beyond stuff that looks pretty and has little or no practical function. I'm sure we would all be interested in ideas for alternative items that could be sold that do not provide any in-game advantage to the purchaser.

It's been redone to greatly reduce and discourage the grind and macroing.

If Portalarium could get the win for selling more stuff and more players would log in and and flag for PVP, then yes... I'm all for it.

Adding stuff like that that you could gain by endangering yourself in game accomplishes that same thing in a less controversial way.

I'm tired of the forum controversy card. I just want to play the game - I'm in Blood Bay now - come on over... I'll put some arrows in your face. :)

Sorry, but arrows are worthless in pvp. They are physical damage and our only choice for armoring is more physical defense or less physical defense and easier casting. Not trading physical defense for magic defense and thus being susceptible to physical attacks.

I don't have QA Access, but if you want to wager 100,000 gold on your arrows vs me in a duel in R37 current live build, I'm down.

My bet is I can stand there and indefinitely receive your physical based dmg arrow attacks as I use a few skills and wait for you to get tired of trying.

You can have free back shots too.

Not playing the who's best at manipulating game mechanics right now... just having some fun... But once the game goes live - I'll plug you for 1000 COTO. You know how to find me.

I can't back that wager of COTO, so I won't make it.

My point is that physical and magic damage and defenses/mitigation options are way out of line right now.. physical has always been crap vs player, and only recently became useful vs some monsters.

The devs are giving us a COTO gambling interface at some point, unless that's been taken off the table. Once that's in game they should have all the skills and combat styles balanced enough for PVP to at least be a game of skill... I'm hopeful, anyway. We can lock in our COTO bets at 50 or whatever and start on opposite ends of scene and hunt. I'm not big on tournament/duel fighting, although I do like to watch.

Oh man, I had thousands of them, sold quite a few off... I tired to get a COTO banking system off the ground - traded a bunch of land deeds, pledge and store items for COTO in game - even gave folks a no interest layaway plan to work from so they could play the game and use just the in game economy to pay me over time.

But yeah, COTOs a plenty ... I have a few hundred strewn about about decos. haha

    You rich bastard!

The only wealth I have is this small fortune in crafting materials and XP.

And the materials are to get more XP :p

I invest in my character so that I can stay on the cutting edge and have little fear about adventuring into places like this new dungeon.
