Containers Within Containers Notice for Release 38

So if I'm understanding this correctly, my deco box that contains containers will be fine, as long as those containers within the box are all empty?

 

Nope. You will no longer be able to put a container inside another container. You will only be able to have containers placed on your lot, in your inventory and/or in your bank.

 

That includes any crafted decos like desk too.

next release they will no longer allow containers in basements... LOL

 

Finally that small unused rooms in my arena basement are having a purpose...
...as long it wont look chaotic like my real life basement

This was my exact thought.. In my basement. A basement I do not own. I have a box with all my Christmas stuff. Just empty present boxes and so on. Will those boxes within a box all appear in house owners bank now?

Again: One Box and inside I put EMPTY Christmas present boxes. Is that to many deep even if those present boxes are empty?

 

I think I just found my answer. basement becomes my container.

 

Oh sorry I was actually playing the game and THIS...THIS was the message of the day. I think there are many other important things that need addressed rather than bags in bags. for the "NOTE OF THE DAY"

 

Considering this is physically changing location of your items it is VERY important information to get out, otherwise mass panic will ensue.

 

If its purpose is to control game lag and load time of game and items. I get it.
But i had first thought nothing loaded until opened anyway. So passing players houses didn't have to be concerned with what a house has as items unless the passer by accesses it.
But i guess items all load so it needs to be minimized. Make room for bank boxes so its individual item loads and not a shared item loading all the time.

I already tried, could not find anywhere to hang them. Could put two fire places in basement i suppose.

 

Does this mean anything that is 'openable' (including furniture like desks)? Meaning we can no longer store 'openable' furniture in trunks or bags used for organization within our banks? Or is it specifically non-placeable items like bags and backpacks?

 

Anything that is a container. BTW, bags and backpacks are now placeable as decorations.
