You Know You're Addicted to SotA When...

When you're preparing Thanksgiving dinner, and you wonder whether the recipes are discoverable or if you need to buy them.

When you attend a funeral, and think about decay.

When it's just you and another person on the sidewalk, and you walk around them so you don't get pulled into a random encounter.

 

My son needed a yard of fleece last night for a project at school. I did not know what vendor sold that recipe so I went to Michaels.
Michaels did not have it but they said go to Walmart.

I felt as if none of my local vendors had it so I was off to Brittany alleys to check all the vendors for it at that point.

At Wal-Mart the master tailor could not be located to cut the yard from the roll. From experience I figured he was off duty but could be found in a nearby bed. Another vendor used an aether communication device to broadcast a message to the zone that I needed a master tailor. After waiting 30 minutes and 3 more broadcasts later a master tailor showed up, stretched and burped and filled my order.

I have recently read that Amazon is replacing the human workers with automotons who will not leave their stations for extended periods of time.


* This is a farcical memory of real events from last night but honestly some of these thoughts were going through my head while I stewed in anger over the time to get this yard of fleece.

 

When you are decorating for Christmas in all of your Shroud homes...wipe your brow that you have finished all the Christmas deco in record time...and your real life home has none.....................
