Is it possible to place greenhouses on top of houses?

Is it possible to place greenhouses on top of normal houses which have suitable outdoor decks?
As an outdoor decoration.

I tried placing the rusted iron greenhouse on the town viking three-story house (which has a huge open deck) but it never went green and placeable.

So I became curious to know what's possible to do.

And if no combination is possible right now - does anyone know why?

 

They flagged a number of things to work on house roofs - statues, fountains, streetlamps.

Not sure if greenhouses is included, I thought I had seen the small round greenhouse on someone's roof but I have no idea.

During the missed questions in November - asking if we could place greenhouses on roofs:

Yeah, we used to be able to do a lot of fun things.

I think I understand.
In order to control the placement on the roofs additional coding would be required, and it feels like a really low priority thing.
But it would be nice to be able to put more stuff on the roofs

 

There are a couple of rowhouses with the upper story work as a greenhouse though... but placing a greenhouse on the roof won't work as far as I know.

 

Doesn't look quite right to me for some reason... perhaps why we fixed it .

 

Does it work on top of an old keep roof? (Assuming it fits)
