    Hi,

    Definition of "Chaotic-Clone": "Creates an illusionary copy of the caster to distract attackers."

    When using "Chaotic Clone" the name of the clone should be the same as the name of the player. This is not true for a PvP flagged player because the "[PvP]" suffix is missing from the name. This basicly takes away any chance an attacker can confuse a clone with the player, rendering it useless.

    And yes, i tried editing the name but i cant enter the "[,]" brackets unless there is a kind of command for this i am missing. Therefore i request to please fix this.

    thx,

    // Armar

    Maybe it is to distract a mob while PvP?
    Good for if some PvE instaflag while you PvE and flagged. You can cast a copy, distract the mob and fight your attacker.

    It hardly distracts any MOBs and why shouldnt i be able to use it for PvP?

    Would be also cool to have a longer string for the name like:

    "I am with stupid =>"
    or
    "Dont kill me i had too much dwarfen wine"

    I dont think its "too powerfull" at all. The clone has, depending on skill-level, between 10% and 20% of your health, so an attacker should only waste one hit on it, probably killing the clone instantly. It would greatly help solo PvP as one could place a clone, hide in sight, wait for someone attacking your clone and then for example backstab him.

    It also would only draw about one attack if casted during PvP combat. Besides this i would like the clone to actually stay where i did place him and not follow me around anyway if i walk too far off. So far it seems pretty useless expcept maybe when you max the skill. And then only for PvE.

    Even if the clone had a PvP flag it would take an experienced player only 1-2 seconds to figure out it's a clone. Useful for a momentary distraction and certainly not OP.

    Yes, but 2 seconds can be a lot :) In Group PvP, if coordinated targeting is used, it could "eat" quite some more damage though. It would be gone after one hit, but a group hit could be a lot of damage which isnt directed at you plus 1-2 sec of time.

    Right now it seems to be mainly useless.

    You can use it to test if somone in a pvp zone is agressive or not. They have to be relativly close to see its name or target it.

    Or use it as a scarcrow near a scene entrance.

    Cast clone and be stealthed yourself. That is about only use it has in PvP. I agree it is rather week spell though. I would prefer soemthing much more special, like when you cast clone you will lose half hp and half focus and create copy of yourself that will do what you do (cast spells and so on). I would also like that the clones were "real" so if you died yo uwould just take control of different clone for as long as any clone was alive. I suppose that after each cloning the clones could have somehow lover stats (str/int/dexm adv level). Or there would be decay and when clone lost more than half of its hit points it would vanish.

    Anyway the spell as of now is quite boring.

    I agree with the OP. I did find a kewl use for it tough, well jonah hayes did. cast it while naked, and you get a floating head. The things I make that head do, should not be told here :).

    Well, this wouldnt fool anybody but a fool as the "clone" doesnt has your full name as the "[PvP]" suffix is missing. So a player sees "John Doe" while your name is "John Doe [PvP]" . So you cant even use it for this.

    Having the clone casting for you is a bit strong IMHO.

    Hmmm, I see it as a floating head. You got down to your birthday suit before casting it?

    I was going to post for chaotic clone until i see this one. Not only it doesnt show the PVP flag but also the guild. I got a long guild name and only a name vs my name + pvp and guild, the difference is huge. No one with 2 eye will believe its the real me. It should show the whole name as it shows on the player. Make them with 50 hp limit or something so they can be easily killed but at least people or monster can target it for a few second.

    Spotted this in the latest patch notes - has anybody tested the Chaotic clone lately?

    - Chaotic Clone now correctly copies the caster's body.
