The new tips need proof read for grammar, specifically for plural and possessive grammar. As some many members of our community do not use English as a first language, this may be resulting in words without s's.

Read each tip out loud to yourself slowly. I've noticed at least 3 with errors just casually reading them.

I agree. Can the devs publish a document (like Starr does for a each release) that has all of the tips listed? Then we can proof read all of them in one document.
For many of the English tips, the sentence structure and grammar are poor. Improving the tips will make them less ambiguous, more meaningful, and more effective.

Also, I would recommend looking at punctuation. I noticed on a few there were different uses of spaces between periods and the next sentences.

As well, we may want to reevaluate some of the tips to ensure they do not violate copyright or trademark laws. I noticed one this morning that sounded like Doritos Ads. Great tip, but we should probably try not to sound like we're using the slogan of another company. I'm not a lawyer and I'm not an English major, so take all this with a grain of salt, I'm just trying to help.

<SceneId>Novia_R1_City_Soltown</SceneId>

3.
Death magic life drains become more effective as the caster gets closer to death.

10.
Tired of getting your attacks blocked by that shield user? Try a pole arm, which can't be blocked by shields!

11.
Ranged attacks can be dodged or blocked with a shield, but they cannot be parried.

12.
Combine multiple defensive skills for maximum protection. Shield block, dodge, and parry make anyone more resistant to melee damage.

An astrolabe is a product of alchemy that can be used to observe the celestial bodies of New Britannia! It is a valuable tool for craftsmen, explorers, and magic users.

14.

19.
Ready to try some more advanced combat techniques? Try making a new combat deck and leave some slots unlocked!

20.
Unlocked slots in combat decks allow for faster reuse of some skills, but there is no guarantee that those skills will always be there when you need them!

21.
When using unlocked combat decks, some glyphs can be combined to make completely new skills or spells!

22.
When you kill another player in combat, you have the option to ransom some of the items that they were carrying, but add-on items and pledge rewards cannot be ransomed in this way.

23.

Avatars that train in a given school of magic will become more attuned with that school and will be able to cast spells in that school more effectively.

27.
When using an unlocked deck, you can combine two identical glyphs to create a more powerful version of that glpyh. Do this by dragging one glyph onto the other.

28.
In many cases, the Interact hotkey (defaults to E) can be used as an alternative to double-clicking with the mouse.

29.
Shields are a great way to augment your defenses, even for mages.

30.
You can improve your chance to successfully cast spells by equipping either a ward or a staff, or by remaining unarmed.

31.
You can create custom emote texts in chat by typing '/em <text>'. If you want to add an animation to it, type '/em <text>%emotename%'

32.
Training fewer skills will let those skills level faster.

33.
Attacking from behind not only prevents the target from blocking or parrying but also greatly increases your chance of scoring a critical hit.

34.
Blacksmith NPCs will pay more for your weapons and armor than some other types of NPCs. Be sure you're getting paid the most for your wares by checking around!

35.
You can split a stack of items by holding down the SHIFT key and click-dragging on the stack you wish to split.

36.

43.
Merchants need sleep too! If the one you're after is missing, they could be asleep!

44.
Consulting with the Oracle about your journey along the Paths of Truth, Love, and Courage could earn you 500 gold per day.

45.
Some resources such as Black Pearls, Garlic and Mandrake can be very hard to see if you're in a hurry. Slow down and observe!

46.

I have suggested some edits...I will come back as time permits and do the rest....

My suggestions are in red, comments in blue:
1.
For a quick exit from most town scenes, look for the red wagons, balloons and boats.
To exit to the overworld map, click on a red wagon, red balloon, or red boat.

2.
The Catacombs in Soltown is a perfect place for new Avatars to earn Experience and Gold.

The Catacombs in Soltown is a perfect place for new avatars to procure gold and earn experience.
(make sure A, E, and G are not capitalized)
3.
Death magic life drains become more effective as the caster gets closer to death.
Life Drain (a Death magic skill) becomes more effective when the caster is closer to death.

4.
Healing spells are more effective when the caster hasn't damaged anything recently.
Healing spells are more effective when the caster has not recently inflicted damage on an opponent
5.
Sun magic is most effective while the Sun is up. (note: this not always true, because of the sun skill that increases solar hours)
Sun magic is most effective when the sun is visible in the sky.
6.
Lunar magic is most effective while the moon is above the horizon. (note: this not always true, because of the moon skill that increases lunar hours)

7.
To quickly loot a container or corpse, hover your mouse/reticle over it and press "E" to open it and then press "E" again to "take all".

8.
Heavy armor is most effective against Fire, Death, and Air magic, and least effective against Earth, Life, and Water magic.
No edit. I think capitalizing spell names and magic tree names help distinguish them, and would keep them capitalized. I have adopted that convention in these suggestions.
9.
Shields aren't just for looks! They grant additional damage protection and when actively used with the block skill they can stop melee, ranged, and even some magic bolt attacks!

10.
Tired of getting your attacks blocked by that shield user? Try a pole arm, which can't be blocked by shields!

21.
When using unlocked combat decks, some glyphs can be combined to make completely new skills or spells!
When using unlocked slots in your combat deck, glyphs with a green outline can dragged onto each other to create a combination glyph. Combining the same glyph creates a more powerful "stacked" skill. Combining different glyphs creates a new skill that is a blend of its components. Using a combination glyph consumes less focus than using its components separately.
22.
When you kill another player in combat, you have the option to ransom some of the items that they were carrying, but add-on items and pledge rewards cannot be ransomed in this way.

For faster travel, equip your coconuts! You must un-equip the coconuts to enter a building, to engage in conversation, and to interact with items.
25.

I would spell out VERSUS.

Glyph is misspelled. If you use the recommendation in tip # 21 above, then this tip is superfluous.

Blacksmith NPCs will pay more for your weapons and armor than some other types of NPCs. Be sure you're getting paid the most for your wares by checking around!
When selling an item, a non-player merchant will pay you more if the item you are selling is pertinent to their profession. For example, a blacksmith will pay you more for a rusty sword than a tailor.

You can improve your chance to successfully cast spells by equipping either a ward or a staff, or by remaining unarmed.

I feel like most of the corrections are merely there for the sake of finding something to correct.

Avatar is a title and both Gold and Experience are labels for specific game systems.

"The Life Drain spell from the Death school of magic becomes more effective as the caster gets closer to death."

It's progressive, so "when" isn't appropriate.

With those modifications, this is no longer a tip that should show up on the loading screen but rather something that should be in the tutorial.

This is the only change that I truly agree with.
