[Known] Cover is totally broken in 462

    Title: Cover is totally broken in 462
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? Yes.
    Details: "Cover" seems to happen almost everywhere now. Below you'll see a screen-shot where I'm standing on a rock, the target is in plain view but I'm doing very little damage (I should be doing extra damage since I'm higher). You'll also note that my target's shots are not being "cover"ed. I also get the "cover" message on flat ground (with a significant decrease in damage) if I'm just a moderate distance from my target. I know that I'm not using the 462 client but it's not available to me. Hopefully this is related to the client mismatch. Maybe some Windows or Mac users could verify?
    Steps to Reproduce: See "Details".

    Can confirm. Directly in front of spider at following location and every swing of my 2H sword resulted in "cover". (Also happening everywhere else that I was in combat, including K'rawl.)

    I also confirm this, cover is proc'ing way too frequently and is vastly overpowered. Here is a screenshot of damage using thrust, double slash, and bodyslam against a GREEN Kobald mage.

    I am lvl 98 (or was last time I checked), and have GM'd all three of those skills. My Str was buffed to 131 and Dex to 91, yet Thrust is critting for 6 or 7 points of damage against a Kobald mage I am stood toe to toe with.

    Can't even fight yellow mobs as I run out of focus well before I can kill one. I actually thought this mechanic was intended to protect Avatars from damage such as fireballs thrown through floors and walls (eg mages in the Rise fire-balling Avatars through the floor in the chest room), and that it required a solid object such as a wall between the attacker and mob to proc, but obviously I must have gotten my wires crossed and cover has a different focus, I have not seen it proc as a defence against inbound damage either, is this a mechanic that only mitigates the damage we deal, and not the damage we receive? Also is there any info posted about what the mechanic is intended to simulate?

    I was fighting skeletons and can confirm the same, used 900 focus and couldn't kill one. I died twice/ran away once... totally broken.

    Wonder how the hell you take cover from a 2h axe in ankle high grass.
    Get low damage hits.

    Details: While fighting various elves in Greymark cover would trigger everywhere, making it difficult to kill anything

    Same thing on Blood Bay. Golem standing in the middle of a sandy beach with absolutely nothing around still managed to find "cover" 100% of the time.

    Same, I'm now on 465 and its bad. Its preventing me from testing other things :(

    My character is in the mid 90's and Cover is making it very hard for me to test new content effectively.
