[Known] "Fastest" video option - Avatar hitbox way too big on overland map

Tested here multiple times quitting and reentering, much to the dismay of those on my friends list, I'm sure: Area: Novia (Novia) Loc: (-500.4, 11.7, 113.1)

This only seems to happen when first starting the game on the world map using "Start on World Map" or "Resume" when there is another avatar in the vicinity.

With the video mode on "fastest," the hitbox for targeting another avatar on the world map is huge and misshapen. See the first screenshot below, hovering anywhere in the red outlined area causes the mouse to be blue which means it thinks I am targeting the avatar near me. Double-clicking anywhere in this area (where the mouse is blue) selects the nearby avatar to my hard target. This does not happen in a town.
