    So, does Port have anyone who is paid to monitor their servers 24/7 365 ?
    If not, I'd highly recommend they consider doing so.........

    Usually, when a server go down the admin get a email notifaction on his phone that says a service went offline :p if they are sleeping... or not home or something, could take some time.

    I use Pager Duty, it has a call tree and escalation, for just this sort of thing...
