Is there any way that short bows are better than long?

    The only way to make them equal/comparable is to make short bows one handed. Hmm, not likely.
    Faster draw time? Possible.
    Less encumbrance? Oh wait, not in this game.

    Ok, draw time is the only way I can really see an advantage. Let's tell someone if you agree. :)

    Could make short bows have a faster attack speed.

    I wish it would be comparable to the long-bow like a dagger compared to a long sword. Short-bow will do less damage but a higher crit rate. Shorter range but faster attack. ETC. Right now no reason to build/use short-bow other than to make your hands look enormous.

    short bows are horrible......... do 1/2 the damage with no beneficent factor as to why they are even in game

    Honestly, i cant believed ranged still only has one weapon option. where's the x bow already
