[Info Needed]Summoned daemon

The summoned daemon ally just walks around, which when I run, means he is left far behind. He is in aggressive disposition but does not attack anything until I tell him to attack with a command. I was being attacked by a bear and yet the daemon just stood beside me doing nothing.

After he is actually in combat, he begins to be able to run/move faster.

All testing done in Deep Ravenswood.

 

Are you able to reproduce this issue reliably?

 

Yes. I tried it again just now.

1. Logged into R41 QA. (Linux 64bit)
2. Traveled to the Hidden Vale.
3. Entered Deep Ravenswood from the overland map.
4. At entrance of Deep Ravenswood I cast Summon Daemon. The daemon is still on aggressive.
5. I run toward the first skeleton archer I see.
6. Daemon slowly follows only after I have traveled out of it's proximity.
7. I am fighting the aforementioned skeleton archer.
8. Daemon stops walking when he is next to me and the skeleton archer.
9. Daemon idles doing nothing.
10. Skeleton archer is killed by me alone.
11. I run back to the entrance.
12. Daemon slowly follows.
13. While walking it is once attacked by an elder wolf, but completely ignores the elder wolf.
14. Stops to idle when it catches up to me and is by my side.

 

Just adding that he is doing the same thing on live R40 for me when I tried it there as well just now. I ran very far away from him, then he eventually teleported to my location. Upon having teleported to me, he "woke up" and started attacking a nearby bear. This is on live R40, still.

 

Ive seen similar bits in live but not enough to reproduce reliably, anyone whos got insomnia can watch through my streams and listen for any point when I shout and scream at my pet to do something... ive had it with the ice pet on live when on defense.. sometimes he wont even follow he just stands there like picking his spikes.. so its not just the demon who can be weird
