What is about the Water Elemental, does it heal more now or are just HP and Damage affected?
Curious if i should work on my Water or Ice Elemental?!?

 

Good catch. We meant to lower their magic resistance at same time but missed it.

So encouraging to post 20+ pages of fixes and new content only to see most of the first responses be pointing out a big mistake you made. Good thing I love what I do so much!!!!!

I woked as a software QA tester (accounting software). I'm kind of used to finding the one thing that got overlooked.

 

So difficult to please everyone. I am just at a point where I can handle them if I'm careful. Perhaps there are lower level ghosts in different areas like wraiths or something. You will always hear both sides and I'm sure it makes for crazy

Plus asking what the person is doing to help in their combat which should affect the fight outcome like did they eat their food, get their blessings, have armor to help resist (if resists are working correctly that is). Ghosts can be too difficult for lower skill leveled people which is as it should be, but if they are broken that's another thing

I don't know about in R41, but I was pretty handily able to kill ghosts previously at my adv level in Etceter, just with a plain Copper Longsword and Heavy Round Shield and level 30 Flame Fist / Level 10 Ignite Weapon. With sufficient prep, making sure they were on fire while I was swinging at them, so it would help me wear them down. Was able to do more than one at once, too, but more difficult.

I'll have to see if I, an archer and non-magic user will ever be able to kill the nerfed ghosts. But as I said, I am not going to fret whether or not I can kill Casper and just enjoy all the goodies in this release

 

That is a question for @Chris who did the implementation.

 

Yeah, folks tend to jump on the pieces that make things harder, but I'm really liking what I see in this release. Crossbows! Finally!

Now I just need to find the recipe. =)

Asking a question is not the same thing as complaining, or even critisizing. Am anxiously awaiting being able to play after the update =)
@DarkStarr i know we get pretty negative here a lot, but sometimes that makes things seem negative when they are not.

 

Can't wait to play around with the bludgeon changes, find the new axes and get patterns from them, see how well the Agro and Taunting changes benefit tanking and test out taming for tanking!
