   I've checked Xenos/Elads/Ardoris...nowhere to be found (maple, pine, crimson pine, hard maple, rock maple)

   You can discover the maple/pine recipe. 8x Timber + 3 wax + wood rasp. Specialty woods (grey/rock) are not discover-able it seems.
