Details:
So now that I have actually killed the alpha wolf (not just the betas), the farmer isn't talking to me AT ALL. This also happened when I tried it this morning in QA when trying to kill the wolf before talking to the farmer, but the chat window didn't come up (the chat window coming up might be to a different code change, the one that is causing bankers to annoy people)

The NPC chat window opens, and he doesn't chat and doesn't respond to chats. I also tried exiting and waiting and resuming.
Also (probably due to other interactions), I currently have both "Inform Farmer Alpha Wolf is dead" and "Kill the Alpha Wolf" on my task list.

Steps to Reproduce:
- do not talk to farmer
- kill alpha wolf
- talk to farmer
- chat window comes up but farmer no longer responds to chat

Changing my game mode to force a new instance did not help.

After changing modes another time, he's talking to me again, but now he says:

[04/27/2017 12:55:52] Filmore: We still got wolf problems. I'm starting to think you "an" alpha wolf and not "the" alpha wolf. Oh well, I'm sure Dawson will take care of them.

(Note how he accidentally the verb.)

So there's a wrong alpha wolf too? As if it wasn't hard enough to get even one wolf with other players competing for him?

And both quest tasks are still up.

 

The "defeated the alpha wolf" entry is in my journal three times!
