Another Big flaw of Sota

    Single player and Multiplayer within the same game, sharing the same mechanic

    GOOD LUCK dev to balance that.
    By balancing Multiplayer you unbalance Singleplayer

    The only flaw Sota has is they have a different game in mind than I do

    Single player meaning offline or online? Offline mode will be balanced for solo play.

    Having single player online, friends only and multiplayer is not a new thing. Elite Dangerous has these same modes and has no problem balancing.

    The way I view it is if you're playing single player online, you accept the risk of not playing with anyone. Everything will be more difficult, but you don't have to share.

    This would be the easiest and cheapest way out. Basically SotA should scale the difficulty based on the mode we play in as well as some other factors.
    Other games do this (ESO) and are immensely succesful doing this.

    The offline single player mode really should be treated as a separate entity. Single player online and multiplayer are interconnected.

    Offline - Scale it to be literally solo play.

    Everything else, keep it focused towards MMO / group play.

    Well you have NPC companions right? And they were talking about hirelings in the future. So 'solo' is relative still.
