Dexterity bonus - what??

OK this is a puzzle. Fighting in Crag foothills; with enchantments, food, air's embrace I can get DEX to 119. (Yay) On odd and rare occasions I see an extra little buff icon - it says Dexterity Bonus - +10 dex. And my dex is 129! When I notice it, it usually has about 30 - 40 seconds to run, so pretty brief.

It's wonderful, and very nice; my question is - if anyone knows - what triggered this, and more important, how do I do it again???

 

an enchantment on your gear perhaps?

 

It is an enchantment on a piece of gear. I have it on my chest piece. It basically triggers whenever you are in combat. Next time I log in I will tell you the name of it.

 

I think it is call Deftness on hit from memory 5% chance for +10 Dex

 

Thanks - can't seem to see exactly that on my gear, but it makes sense. Mystery solved - you are awesome!

 

A small note I've heard but have not confirmed myself is that some of those roll the dice upon being attacked.
So for instance standing in the middle of fast attacking mobs like a wolf pack should trigger it more often.
