lol Owain, don't you see that these are only basic item, its not like they are selling Valorite runic hammers or anything like that. I am sure there will be enough things for crafters to produce in game as Richard (LB) said that the game will start with basic stuff and he wants the community to craft the rest :) Happy days I love crafting.

    It's not very virtual world-y.

You evidently missed my post just prior to that. I am employing HEAVY sarcasm here.

I guess I need to post fix my posts with /sarcasm

    That's what I'm sayin'...
Generally cheap and easy to replace at any general merchant or weaponsmith in any game, same with any other tool class items...

These unbreakable items are base tools are they not? High end crafters and gatherers would not be using these items.

They are base tools that are described, at least to me, as a little better then what most people will start out with. But later on, once we have time in, they will be next to useless in the long run as more powerful tools become available.

That's why I got mine... I'm assuming they'll change over the course of the release of the game so earlier people will have a way to differentiate their purchases from later people. I'm big on collecting things :)

I think it's a Doctor Who reference, but if is it, it's obscure.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... timey wimey... stuff."
