New Player, Old Account

    Hello everyone,

    I was given/purchased this account but I don't know much about the game. There's allot to read!

    But the most important thing I want to have some advise on, is what a player named Pure Water should be wearing in the game?

    An elf archer armor, a sward and a blue cape came with the account. It looks ok, but I was wondering if anyone had some better ideas and where I could find them. The online purchases look very restricted in the diversity of styling.

    So I'm open to any suggestions :)

    You can definitely get nice crafted stuff in the game and most cloth gear and clothing can be dyed in various combinations of 16 colors, plus there are all pay-for-dyes that sparkle, have rainbow patterns, etc. Long story short, there are tons of options in the game, but you may need to learn how to craft or find one to help you out.

    BTW: My wife's name means "Blue Water",

    Viola would like to know what you would wear it for. Run around, combat, parties? If combat, what type of armor are you going with, cloth, leather, chain or plate? That makes a difference on which pattern you can apply.

    She does suggest ice wings as a starting point. I was thinking Ardoris Priestess, dyed blue maybe?

    Welcome to the game Pure Water. I can show you some things in game anytime. I have a fashion chest of clothes. Really we don't have as many pieces of clothing as we would like, but the day is still young for this game and I'm sure much more will be coming. The dye system is this game is pretty good, not the dye tubs like UO had but Que Sera Sera, at least we have one ;).

    We have all kinds of dyes, sparkle dyes, rainbow dyes, glowing dyes, and your basic colors too.

    Cotton things can be dyed now. Later we will get enamels for metal armors and leather is said to be coming later too. I have a dye chest to make up outfits. Anyway I am Majoria in game if you would like to see some things. I would be happy to help anytime.

    man.. that's one item I doubt I'll ever wear. I was glad to make a contribution for that cause but talk about a meh clock...

    Autumn Fairy outfit then, mixed and matched of course. Take advantage of @majoria70 offer and try on things until you find one or two you like, she'll save you a lot of time and gold.

    If you want, you can change your login name in the settings from the main website. You can change your character name by rerolling, or by (as others have mentioned) service voucher. Note that when rerolling, put away all items that you can into a bank. Items in your character inventory will be deleted permanently when you reroll.

    Or you can go with it, it's rarely bad to challenge yourself with a restriction like keeping a not so bad name that someone else chose.

    There is an ever-growing list of things to wear. Some are limited items (the Autumn Fairy items were rewards from a telethon a few months ago), some are craftable items, some are only from the online store (or in-game in ways that are equivalent to the online store).

    If you're worrying about what to wear, then you should get involved with the social side of the game, so that you can have someone to see what you wear. There's a lot more to do than go into the hills and beat up on wolves and bandits.
