Context sensitive music

I was just starting fresh in offline mode and began the Path of Courage.
I went outside of the gates and some lovely, slow music played while I was attacked by the elves... This doesn't really feel right. I think there should definitely be context sensitive music, like fast, exciting battle music when we are attacked or engage in a fight. We even had this in Ultima 3!

Also I though it would have been nice hearing some kind of sad music when Samael the healer tries to heal the wounded guard by is not able to.

This is really missing from the game.

 

Agreed. The music in MMOs is extremely important to me. I still get nostalgic listening to music from FFXI. To me, that is the best music ever from an MMO.

 

Agree. That one is an Ultima 9 feature that is still missing from SotA.

I mentioned combat music at the end, but I also focused on time-of-day music. Sometimes you hear upbeat music at nighttime in towns for instance that seems only appropriate for the day because all the towns are quiet at night.

 

I made abc combat music for sota!!! If i thought it'd get into the game i would refine it and submit it which i might do anyways!
