Just wanted to say (And I put it here because wasn't sure where else to put it) that the music at the title screen is excellent. If I have missed if it was shared on the site prior to this, I'm sorry I missed it, because it's splendid!

(Puts his headphones back on while the launch screen sits and does nothing...)

I hope all the music is this good!

I also enjoyed the music but had to lower the volume. I thought it was just me but someone else on the release post mentioned the same thing. I mentioned this there too but since there is a post for the music I thought I should mention it here. Would be good if could access the options screen without logging in.

Yeah I have been listening to the title screen for about 20 minutes now. It's great. Love it.

Very nice tune, definitely brings back the style of the original Ultima.

Infact, I hope that Garriott and the composers will propose more of the same: yes, in part it might be because of the simplicity of MIDIs, but I also think that the "Ren Faire" vibe of a lot of Ultima III-VII songs is what made the saga unforgettable (beside other great elements, of course). I mean, it's great to have these impressive, orchestrated soundtracks like Skyrim and other titles, but sometimes, catchy and perfectly done tunes like "Karelia's Song" really contribute to the atmosphere of the whole game (see UO as well)

Yes I agree, the music was very nice and gave me a nostalgic feeling. And I wasn't even expecting any title screen music this early either!

Sorry but I can not agree. Don't get me wrong the music is not bad but doesn't have the greatness of Stones or the positive Britain theme from UO. Not that I think it's not fitting. I can imagine it playing while the player leaves home for the first time and starts his voyage to unknown adventures ahead. However maybe after I played SotA as long as the Ultima games I will start to like it more, who knows.

I guess this will be an unpopular opinion but I really didn't like the music a bit, it sounds like Chariots of Fire. or a documentary music. Maybe I'm too harsh but this is how it feels like, especially when you compare it with Stones.

I do like Chariots of Fire, but I wouldn't listen to it in an endless loop. I can, however, listen to Stones in an endless loop. Maybe that's the problem, at first it sounds nice but after a while you start to get irritated by it. I don't know, did you guys really like it?

Yeah I was a fan. I use a mobile app to play music in my tabletop RPG games, and one of the features it doesn't have is the ability to cycle music properly with good transitions so you don't get bored of the same thing all the time. I'm constantly getting sick of it and changing it

Its cool...I don't mind it ....Its a little more cheerful than what I'm used to
How many times have you listened to it thus far? :)
I just need about 50 more tracks for towns, 50 tracks for combats, 50 tracks/bard songs for taverns, 50 tracks for misc :)

    Looking forward to modding

I liked the music, has a style about it that says Ultima!, But for the love of god don't put the Brittania theme anywhere in the game else i will flip a lid!
