[Known] "Goodbye" keyword doesn't work on etceter town crier

Title: "Goodbye" keyword doesn't work on etceter town crier
Reproduction Rate: 100%
Blocker? For some, yes. I know that other npc's have "farewell" keyword that works so I tried that and that got me out.
Details: Clicking the suggested keyword on the etceter town crier of "Goodbye" does nothing.
Steps to Reproduce: talk to town crier. Click the "Goodbye" keyword on the bottom right of the pop up dialogue interface

Hitting the Goodbye does not end the convo
if i enter bye or goodbye manually and hit enter the convo is left

I cannot repro this, which is driving me bonkers.

I hope to find a pattern as to what is causing this. It isn't an admin thing because I have tried it without it, and I can click goodbye...even on the same NPCs you guys are using. I've tried various ingame settings as well.

@Lexie what do you need I can repro it with every alt (i have 2) and my main char at veritas sanctuary Oracle (i am still there with 2 avatars)

Ive seen this happening for awhile now (R45) in multiple places, thought it was reported already? hit double hit ESC to close chat if you done (easy way to close it)

You are my angel. There is something with these specific settings that is causing this.
Coping your settings I am able to repro.
We got a fix on the way. A change has already been checked in for this so I don't have a bug # for you right now, but a fix IS on the way.

 

Side note:
entering "bye" will close conversation.

 

I reported this on QA and got no response.

[edit] BTW, entering anything after you say "goodbye" will close the conversation.

 

We weren't able to repro this until yesterday, that's why

 

in 664 this is solved for me - so thanks @Lexie
