Disappearing items, any item.

    Testing in the Baron's house.

    drag item, make sure it doesn't turn green or red.
    drop it near your character, it disappears, never to be seen again.

    I wonder if they are dropping bellow the floor boards?

    Just to add to this as I ran into the same problem. I believe the items aren't so much disappearing as they are turning invisible. It is like they are getting stuck on something. I have had items that seemed to disappear when trying to place in a home, but when I re-clicked and dragged around the area they disappeared they had a chance of reappearing so you could replace them in your inventory.

    I can confirm that. As a curious addition to this fun issue, the next day I logged in and all the items where on the ground waiting for me.

    I experienced the same issue while going to place a plant from my bag. I clicked, dragged and dropped realizing then that it disappeared. Lessons learned here was that you need to make sure the item is viewing, and that you can see it's green/red indicator. Dragging the item from bag and releasing it somewhere that it does not pop up on screen, will make the item vanish.
