The latest Lot Deed Raffle was drawn with deeds awarded to the following lucky winners!

    Congrats all!

As seen above, there were two raffles, one for each lot type:

    Place Anywhere Deeds (10):

    • Row: 5
    • Village: 3
    • Town: 1
    • City: 1
    Player Owned Town Deeds (10):
    • Row: 5
    • Village: 3
    • Town: 1
    • City: 1
Raffle tickets grant the holder a chance to win deeds of any size (Row, Village, Town, or City). Raffles are held monthly (total deed numbers may vary each month). Winners can claim their deed(s) simply by logging into the game and claiming rewards at any bank.

If you wish to review all of your account rewards outside of the game, you can do so by going to the Account menu on the main website and then selecting the ‘Special Rewards’ tab in the page menu.

    Release 47 Raffle Now Open!

Tickets can be purchased with in-game gold. As with the previous raffle, each person can only win a single deed of each type (maximum of one place anywhere and one POT). The drawing and winners will be announced at the start of the next release cycle.

As before, there are two raffles, one for each lot type:

    Place Anywhere Deeds (10):
    • Row: 5
    • Village: 3
    • Town: 1
    • City: 1
    Player Owned Town Deeds (10):
    • Row: 5
    • Village: 3
    • Town: 1
    • City: 1

More information about the raffles can be found in the latest Release Instructions announcement.

A reminder for previous raffle winners to claim your deeds in the bank!

I would really be curious how many tickets Elmo is tossing into the ring (was it him who somehow keeps beating the RNG every release?)

Woo... I won one. I habitually buy one (1) POT ticket each release.
It is possible to win a deed with a minimum investment.

Congrats, I won a couple when the odds were better and now feel the need to keep playing in order to retain a full set of tickets as decorations, also only getting a couple is offset by the daily oracle visit.

True... with the daily 500gp from the Oracle, everyone can (if they buy COTO from players in game to pay their lot taxes) keep up a Row Lot, and buy a POT Deed Raffle Ticket every release for the time investment of going to visit the Oracle every day.

I'm still wishing for the day we can stack them on top of each other. I only have so much horizontal space.

Ha! Yeah I was hoping they would make them into flat tickets that appear more like their inventory icon, reusing the scroll was a quick way to make them decorations.

I'd be curious on the tech on how numbers are drawn based on lottery tickets bought. Maybe it would shed some light on how someone has been able to win every single lottery.

I've been putting in 60k, 4 of each, which is basically all the Oracle money from four accounts.

I recall hearing that Lum puts them all into an Excel spreadsheet, assigns a random number 0.0..1.0 in another column, then sorts by that column. I hope nothing bad ever happens to Excel, because it would probably mean the end of civilization as we know it.

It seems odd they would deny someone winning two at once, yet let someone win twice in a row.
I'm going to reconsider whether or not I continue to try, because I need to know there's fairness in the distribution.
I don't need good odds of winning, just a fair chance. Hopefully they will look at it again.

Also, the image links are broken for me- so I have no idea who won.

Aye, links with four slashes isn't the correct syntax, I'm curious what system keeps generating it for the devs.

The second time would be on completely different tickets. They don't want someone winning multiple deeds from the same mass purchase block of tickets, especially now that it's down to ten of each kind.

I'm trying to wrap my head around why I am perfectly fine playing the odds against 300000 people buying 1 ticket each, and at the same time, I would not be fine playing against 10 people with 30,000 tickets each.
It seems like my brain thinks there's something more fair about having a ticket purchase limit. I really can't have, articulate or defend a point of view...but something about this doesn't feel right.
The best I can do is hope someone other than me will revisit it with that in mind- maybe they can make sense of it.
