No pick sound when mining in Elysium until I changed pick then they started.

Same problem in Random Encounter.


ALSO, the chopping trees sometimes only have sound every other chop. I noticed earlier though that every other chop was a reduced thud like two types of chop sounds, but then the thud sound stopped.

 

i did get some pickaxe and axe sounds in north midmaer way.. but not all of them

 

I now get the pick-axe sound on the first few nodes in a scene, then it seems to go quiet. :-(

 

Can you guys use /debug to see if you guys are getting any errors when this happens?
We want to see if this is related to a non-sound issue (causing sound issues) thank you!

Had pick sound 1st few nodes then lost it. Turned on /debug for a few nodes then changed pick and got the sounds back. How long should I run it and what do I do with it ;-)

 

@Lexie , Also experiencing this problem and I noticed that my Elementals, at the same time, lose their walking sounds. I didn't test all of them but I did test, Air, Water and Ice Elementals. Not sure if this issue is tied in with the mining sounds issue but it occurred at the same time. The mining sounds would go in and out. Sometimes it would go quiet for a long time, start working for a bit, then stop again. This happened in multiple scenes as well.

Sorry got distracted by RL and a new rig in the middle of building I'll check today and give a update on what is or might not be going on.

 

yep definitely still happening.. possibly could be caused by tabbing out while mining to another window? I went to ely mines, hit a few nodes no problem. then sound disappeared for mining and then errors started to spam. I tabbed out at this point so maybe that trigger? I have mute audio while not focused turned on. Will test more later tonight.

 

If you read what the error is saying, it states that the Audio Source is disabled. So, something on the Server Side sounds like it is disabling the sound, and I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with Application Switching. I'm sure they can run a trace stack and find out what is causing the mining sounds to be disabled in this instance and it isn't just mining sounds, in my experience, that is being affected by this bug. I have had issues with summons/elementals not doing their walking sounds when this occurs.
