OMG this should be easy for me?

    I just had a look through my Journal and noticed that the task "Defeat all Cabalists in a Siege" is labeled "(This task should be easy for me.)"

    The last time I ventured anywhere near the engineers I died several times within minutes. :eek:

    I honestly didn't expect the game to tell me it should be easy for me. Rather, I expected the comment to read "You are too inept to play this game. Stick to decorating"

    I had the task too. I assumed I got it by talking to the Scout.

    The first time you try and enter a beseiged town I believe it ends up on your journal. It's in mine as well and I readily suck at most things. As I've been told, " Go that way really fast, and if something gets in your way, turn."

    I seriously have been putting in too many Better Off Dead references in my posts lately. I think I need to watch the movie this weekend.

    This sounds like the game making a judgment about your ability based on you adventure level, which alone doesnt help much in a fight

    I.E. green siege engineers give me far more trouble than a blood-red lich mage

    It's actually a typo - that should read "This task should be easy for me to die in" :)

    The funny thing is that it depends on who shows up. At least one, I can defeat; others I cannot. If the quest implies you are intended to need a group to complete it, it should explicitly say that. The default assumption should be that players are on their own and the difficulty should be relative to a solo player. Although, as mentioned, even then there's a substantial amount of uncertainty in gauging difficulty strictly based on adv level.

    Do it on POT's and you only get a Lich xxx at the end ;( - never got anything bigger only on PRT or NPC-Towns higher monsters shine

    That's all about timing, you have to clear the siege when the cabalist is there or you'll get the lich :)
