    Title: Lunar Rift leads to Siege
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No
    Details: Going through a lunar rift to a town that is under siege leads to the siege, on the town's side. Going through the lunar rift should bypass any siege and go straight to the lunar rift's entrance.
    Steps to Reproduce: From the Isle of Storms (but probably anywhere), if a town is under siege, the tooltip will say "Forest Siege". Go through the lunar rift and you will end up in the siege. If you turn around immediately, go through the same way you just "exited" through and you end up in town. This one was to Brookside.

    Bug #: 52729 created for bypassing siege by leaving the same way you just came...
    It was an internal design decision to make it so that lunar rifts do not bypass sieges, just a head's up on that one.
    Thank you for the report!

    Please re-think that decision. It does not make sense that you go inside a lunar rift and instead of ending up at the other side of that lunar rift, you magically appear in a siege.

    That is like opening the front door to leave your house to mow your lawn, taking a step outside, and suddenly being at a kids daycare centre instead of outside your house.

    I second the idea of Quenton to let Lunar Rifts bypass Sieges.

    If they should bring you into sieges, then we would neet some kind of mystical stuff inside the siege camps, that would explain why the ancient and slow lunar rift system is being redirected. Otherwise it will still look like a bug, because you can't explain it from the characters standpoint.

    @Quenton Fixed in R50.

    From Release 50 instructions:
    • Sieges:
      • Lunar Rift Bypass: Using a Lunar Rift now allows Avatars to bypass sieges.
