When your guild is dead and somone finally logs in.

lol yea I'm kinda sad too.. I joined one of the biggest guild built by players I was pretty sure were in for the long run. I'm the only member left... hopefully they return on launch but somehow I doubt it almost all houses and flying ships have been taken down in the guild town, it looks like a graveyard

 

Since they were all guild members, did any of them say why they quit ??
Maybe we could learn something from their displeasure.......

 

They didnt quit, they are just so impressed with the game they dont need to test it anymore. Im sure they will log in after launch.

 

I'm not even sure... every night I would log in with minimum 30 people online in the guild... town was full of people building all kinds of customs buildings from blocks, one by one ! There was an air ship park it looked like some scene out of FF.

Then people started dropping from teamspeak, no reason given what so ever... in fact for a while I was getting paranoïd and thought I had said something wrong and they played a joke on me by changing teamspeak... (but I'm very nice with people so extreemly unlikely)

Then after a while all the people I asked for grouping or adventuring would say they just logged in for the bonus gold/xp... then they stopped logging in at all.

The only hint I heard was that most the guild were staying in town because of grouping mechanism, I assume XP distribution and Death Decay issue... so I guess they just got bored.

I just don't understand how they could leave behind such a big investment...

 

I really hope thats the case... it was a varied guild however all levels of experience but the builders were SOTA maniacs... really there were among the best bug hunters and testers you could want.

only reason I joined the guild was because of that, I almost knew for sure they would outlast the game.

P.S.-

I have some info coming to PM that says its the case... we've had a christmas party (missed it sadly) and most people are either hoping for changes to grouping mechanisms and death decay, others just waiting for launch !

 

My guild is more active now than it ever was. Guild town also more populated and lookin better than before.

Also seeing a friends guild picking up new members and revamping thier town As they are starting to become more active

 

I'll keep that in mind just in case
