    Numbers doubled because Internet got way cheaper back then due to ISDN flatrates and opening the game to the asian market :)

    Fact of the matter is NOT having any of the mechanics that made UO popular is the reason we have such a low pop, besides the Kickstarter and funding campaign being a huge success in the beginning.

    Not saying it shouldn't be a home for everyone. But the assertion there is no market, or the market is small for UO like games which harder rulesets, is utterly wrong.
