Are there any plans to get rid off these sounds? The constant hmmm...crying and nananana is driving me crazy. Besides that, release 50 has completely brought me into the game. Was struggling to even get past the few couple of towns and adventure areas, but just finished all the quests in Highvale and now I can't stop playing. Thanks for focusing the game more for new players, but Sims sound effects coming from the NPC's is going to drive some people here off the cliff. Please fix.

I agree. These sounds are aggravating to say the least. It would be nice if we could at least tone them down slightly. :D

Yeah, it's kinda hard to take sieges seriously when the defenders stand on a hill shouting, "nyeah nyeah" at the people trying to destroy them.

I enjoy the humorous taunts, though wouldn't mind if they were rare instead of continuous. One of the things I loved about the game Two Worlds were the rare bits of humor that were inserted when you least expected it. Like when my avatar started singing "It's raining, it's pouring..." during a downpour.

All the sounds need sorting out, I cannot play with headphones on as I cannot find a balance between music and ambience, Sometimes ambient sounds are really low then I come into an area where sounds blast my ears, so like others have said I play through external speakers at a very low volume.

From a weekly livestream a few weeks ago with @Serafina and @Bread Vendor - I believe these are slated to be replaced — hopefully not entirely tho - I hope there are still some occasional signature Serafina “yooo hooo!” and assorted SFX left in here/there :)

I get it. I have an annoying voice! I can take the criticism! *cries in front of dressing room mirror, surrounded by the wilted bouquets from fans who have since moved on*

But in all seriousness, @Bread Vendor is working on improving voice over.

@Serafina a lot of us love your voice. All we want is to tone down the frequency of some (most?) of the more annoying voice overs, and balance the volume of the sound effects (e.g. the deafening rivers and waterfalls).

Thank you, @Bread Vendor. A lot of us have a vested interest in your work. Go, girl!

A bit late to the party (I heard there wasn't any food T^T), but @Serafina most certainly did her best with what guidance the previous sound sorcerer had given to her at the time. For the next go around we'll do our best to add variety and add more direction where applicable. That said, we are getting pretty close to release, so please keep in mind that while we won't be able to do a full sweep of revisions on everything, we'll do our best to clean up and continue to polish even after the commercial launch!

Good to hear they'll eventually get a polish pass. But as others above have alluded to, if the quality isn't there by release, I think the expectation / assumption is that they be highly tuned down or removed until you're ready.

agreed. I am highly concerned with the efforts being put into place at the moment around release and inviting the masses to check out the game. Honestly I dont think that the name Launch should really be used at this point.
