Running through some of the most heavily deco'd or performance challenged scenes (New Brittannia Market, Novia Market, Diamond Fields, Brittany Alleys, Central Brittany, Xenos) I have noticed a massive improvement (for my setup, at least). Previously I can only run on "Good" with low shadows and I get okay performance in most places (Nvidia 1060 w/6gb). However, I can run around in "Fantastic" and it's really smooth. Even at 20fps, I have almost no hitching.

If this keeps up, this is a great step in the right direction!

In my POT, which is normally pretty laggy, I'm getting much better FPS even with shadows. The game seems to finally be taking advantage of my GPU and CPU. It's still more CPU intensive than I'd expect, but a definite improvement.

I'm getting about double the FPS I was before in my house in Northwood.. my GPU is actually doing something - and all the cores on my CPU are showing activity!

(game also seems to quit a lot faster)

I play on max settings and most places were running well in 50, but not some POTs like Novia Market. I'm looking at it right now, getting 6 FPS. In the QA Build I get 20 - 30 all the time! Huge increase! Other places have gone up to 50-60.

Load times on maps are still pretty bad but I'm not sure if anything there was worked on or not.

FPS on overworld is definitely more snappy. Been staying high 30's to mid 40's depending on location. Some of the areas like the north western mountains caused a drop to 27 but it's better than it was.

Giving it a real test and ran to Rift's End which I noticed while I was there today on the main servers, I was averaging about 7 FPS. Inside Evil Eye Tavern I was getting about 20 FPS so about double than I had on production. Outside on the main street, mid to low 20's. Still an improvement. I did notice a couple spikes down into the singles still but not nearly as many so far.

Will continue to run around larger areas to see how performance is.

This is all on Fantastic setting for graphics.

One thing I did notice is that my CPU, GPU and Motherboard are all running hotter with this release.
    CPU is hitting around 70C - 75C
    GPU is around 80C
    Motherboard is around 60C
I'll take the computer outside tomorrow and blow it out just to see if that makes any difference.

    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 10 64bit
    CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz
    System RAM: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
GPU: 8192MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 390 Series (MSI)

After disabling Sli, situation changed dramatically. Improvements in those heavy NPC cities, now it's time for POTs :)
Good work guys this is the way

That's strange. I run in SLI and didn't have to disable it. I did experience some pretty bad stuttering, but a reboot solved that for me.

@Chris does this build contain the IL2CPP improvements too?

    Uhhh man GTX 1080 Sli?
    Sexy!
But an expensive gamble imo. Most games just don't support sli afaik.

IL2CPP is not supported for Windows Standalone in Unity 2017.3, it is in Unity 2018.1, which is still in beta.
