Japeths poem Soltown

I was able to sell it to emma, but not able to give it to. Now its not in my inventory. Now I got this stuck in my journal.

 

To fullfill the Quest, you have to tell Emma the Name Japeth, then you could give her the Poem.

I know, it's now to late for you, but some others will have the same Problems.

 

I got this from www.questsoftheavatar.com, but for anyone looking at this needing help: Jaspeth, poem, etc. won't work. This specific language did "Japeth wants you to have this poem"

 

Japeth never gave me any poem ( I am assuming there is supposed to be some physical letter that I should receive ).
So nothing I say to Emma does anything. "Japeth? Oh, you mean the farmer over there? ... "
When I talk to Japeth again he just asks if I have given his poem to Emma, no matter what I say.

 

Japeth asks if I will give Emma the poem, but does not recognize my response and does not give me the poem.

 

Known issue, will be fixed next patch

 

(realizing Lum said this is a known issue, but I thought I'd add...)

When I was talking to Jaspeth, he actually walked outside the building and the door closed between us and the chat window closed as well. I started talking to another NPC. A couple seconds later Jaspeth walked back in and suddenly I had two NPC chat windows open, and Jaspeth was asking me if I'd given the poem to Emma. I didn't get a poem.

 

Yup, verified, didn't get the poem either. Matchmaking efforts failed. Sorry Jaspeth bro.

 

Can confirm that this has been fixed in build 451. When Japeth asked me again if I gave Emma the poem I told him to 'give me the poem' and he did.
( Maybe if Japeth dint spend so much time drinking and green puking his guts out Emma wouldn't be so put off by him... but /nm )

 

I can't find Emma anywhere in the inn or near the place. Any tips?

 

she's likely sleeping. Upstairs in one of the town buildings... she may not appreciate you waking her though

Well other issue is "and I checked" the poem is not in my inventory, and still cannot complete the mission. Now the issue is fixed how can I get the poem again to give to Emma

 

Alright that did it. Gave the poem to Emma, and told Japeth the truth. He said he cannot even order more ale "Alcoholic Anonymous for SoTa"

 

i am still having this problem in offline mode, japeth wont give me poem, emma wont accept it, now no longer in inventory so cannot complete?
