    I like seeing some miscellaneous messages in the chat window; like when I achieve a skill level or when I'm awarded the daily 10,000 experience. What I don't like, however, is being inundated with messages about who comes online and who goes offline. Can we please get a separate checkbox for those?

    YES! excellent option, and make our guild members a different color than the rest.

    Yes. This is annoying beyond belief. I know who goes and comes when I look. The spam in the chat box is too much.

    I'd like to be able to change the color of the font for the different categories (party, guild, etc). Guild chat is too similar to all the other colors the system generates.

    I would also like to see guildies colored blue in the Friends List. (devs colored purple would be cool too)

    More control over the spambox would go a long way to improving the experience, especially if we aren't going to get that UI overhaul before launch. I'd also like to have a different font / color for quests (xp gain, notes, completion, etc), and the ability to filter these to a different tab.

    I agree that this chat spam is unnecessary. If we want to see which of our friends are online/offline... all we need to do is open our social UI.

    Besides being spam for us when others log in and out... there may be times when someone may not want their friends list to get notified they logged on. I don't PVP much, but I can see where someone flagged for PVP would not want to notify everyone they are around.

    Just to reiterate the point of the OP, this is especially bad when spammed in the NPC dialog window:

    The NPC dialog window should only contain...the dialog!

    I assume there is no Weapon against this Armor called 'by design' ;)

    It makes me sad, reading all these posts confirming what I wrote over years in a lot of threads and posts - just a few weeks before launch :(

    I KNOW very important things have to be finished in 10 days - but to have a flow while playing a great story, isn't it important enough for an Episode based epic game?

    Oh Roy, how would you sing your fine song today, if you would like coming home as an Avatar?

    May be this way?
