    The asteroid will hit with massive force causing tsunamis and volcanos and earthquakes, mountains will topple, rivers will change their course, some places will sink forever beneath the waves, the planet will be covered by cloud cover so dense and for so long that all plant life will be destroyed followed by all complex animal life that remains.... in other words we lose everything and have to start from scratch...

    Simultaneously with the game launch, the asteroid will strike Novia, throwing huge chunks of land far into the sky. There they will remain in orbit and be sold by Portalarium for use as POTs.

    When it hits, it will create a giant crater. Instantly a large amount of players will notice it is a great location for a dance party. A lot of dancing will occur while the rest of the players in the world are hunting, mining, or decorating :D

    It will stop and hover two meters over the surface, a little ladder will unfold, and a little old man humming a quiet little song will slowly climb down the ladder with a little flag in his hand which he will plant in the ground that says, "Welcome to Launch!" Then he'll wave, climb back in the meteor, and it will float away like an untethered balloon.

    Then it will strike on an angle and rip up a chunk of Novia, which will circle the solar system for a year and then circle back past close enough that it dumps everything off again.
