Launch Has Been Inadvertently Spoiled For Me

Perusing some site, I happened upon what was described as a "mild" spoiler. It is my fault for not paying attention and continuing to read a few more sentences. I was displeased to learn what is going to happen in pretty good detail. I don't know the whole story, obviously, but enough to say I will not be truly surprised.

Shame on you website that spoiled the launch! I would suggest you go "dark" until launch if you don't want to find out.

At this point, I can only hope that @Lord British and @DarkStarr mislead the journalist, in which case I would be glad that the journalist was a foil.

The Devs mentioned during the telethon that there are things that they are keeping secret until launch. There should be somethings that aren't spoiled for you.

 

If your talking about the interview LB gave, ya I was surprised he leaked that as well. But, I am sure there is more to it than what he said. Or at least I hope he wouldn't leak ALL of the launch secrets.

I already knew about this. What I want to know is if there will be some horrific cataclysm the night before launch that includes a massive invasion?

The thing is that I don't have the luxury of reading slowly and methodically. I read A LOT of different things all day long. So in my instance, I am not trolling. I skimmed the article. By the time my mind registered "Spoiler" I had already absorbed the image of the text that contained the "spoiler". In any event, I think MJ should have considered that some players like their games not to be spoiled and handled it a little bit better. And saying "Minor" spoiler is also deceiving.

It's like if I told you "Minor" spoiler, Luke dies at the end. Did I tell you the circumstances of his death? No, but you wouldn't consider that a minor spoiler, would you?

MJ gave pretty major details about what happens and where, she even indicated something was going to be "released" or some such. To me, its not the who is being released, its that something is being released.

We'll have differences of opinions here, and that's fine. I was just venting my frustration anyhow.
