Only 0 days heads up for LiveStream aka Telethon

This Livestream is Happening right now. As a reminder. We are tying to get to the robes now.

I wanted to give a few days notice to you all. Instead of the usual Telethon term devs are now reverting to the term Live streams and postmortems. So to take that confusion away especially for those who are new I'll provide a little information in regards to what I see as the importance of these live streams from the devs.

These live streams are an opportunity to:

-Meet the development team of this game and get to know them better

-Ask questions and get answers live from them or posted later in a thread if not answered (you must be in discord to ask. Just use the @Sarafina before your question and you are allowed 3 questions so say question 1,2, and 3)

-Win Prizes usually every hour

-spending $5 during the time frame of the live stream gives you all of the stretch goals if they are met. Yes every single item that has met the stretch goal.

-buy items at discounts that happen during the live stream

-support further development of the game

-have fun with the community and the devs during the live stream

-get rares to display, use, or sell for quite a lot of in game gold

-Finally we get Mage Robes which has been a huge request to get into this game (it is one of the stretch goals)

Ok so that is a few things. Now don't forget and plan for it even if it happens while you are sleeping you can still contribute so see the announcement below for the current upcoming live stream information happening in 3 days.

Monthly Livestream: Release 52 – April 6, 2018 (NEW DATE)




It is time for our first monthly livestream post-launch! As usual we will be doing deep dives, answering questions, having sales, handing out prizes, and tracking towards stretch goals! In honor of the new Quel Shardfall and the unleashing of the new Obsidian Lich, our stretch goals for the R52 postmortem are Obsidian themed!

Monthly livestreams are on Twitch and include answers to your gameplay questions, world building tours, prize giveaways, sales on items, and more! Here is the schedule:

• 3PM: Introductions and Q&A
• 3:45PM: Deep Dive 1: Combat
• 4:30PM: World Building Tour: New Scenes
• 5:30PM: Deep Dive 2: Story
• 6:15PM: Q&A Continues
• 7PM: Ending Announcements

STRETCH GOALS (Obsidian Themed!)

As a special bonus, we are offering funding rewards to any player that makes a minimum purchase of $5 during a twelve hour window during the day of the livestream, on April 6 from 12:00 PM to 11:59 PM CT (Spending Store Credit to make $5 minimum purchase does not apply) .

NOTE: While the livestream ends at 7pm CT, everyone will have until 11:59 PM CT to spend $5 to get the stretch goals. We will announce the final total on the following day.

SUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS

We will be answering questions throughout the livestream, so submit them in the comments section below or on Discord chat during the event.

Please do NOT post questions containing:

• More than 3 questions in total (post all three in a single reply)
• Bugs or other problems best posted in the bug forums
• “When is this coming” or anything related to schedule (for those answers please refer to our quarterly updates or our post release plans)
• Questions with more than a couple of sentences. Please keep them brief! We will likely understand the context of your interest, so just ask the question and we’ll be able to respond.

For bug reports and extra idea suggestions, please use the forums for this purpose.

A Final Thought: We see a LOT of repeat questions. Please consider reviewing one of the other missed question posts, previous monthly livestreams, livestream transcripts, and/or reading our Post Episode 1 plan post before posting a question. Your question might have already been answered.

Thanks Numa Yes I agree we need to let new players know. I hate when they miss out because they did not get it explained to them. So I am extra diligent about that in game and here. I love to watch these and be there with all of you. Now just don't say I'm a pest though *shakes fist* *sighs*. j/k

 

I think the plate armor should come before the mage robes. They always seem to have cloth items in the stretch goals pretty rare to get heavy armor. Plus we always seem to fall shot of the 80k mark. Except for last telethon.

 

Yes and where is BDF? Hmmm. Hope we love the robes. That's why I started a thread on them to give feedback on maybe what would be the most popular look for the game. Just in case that helps

 

I prefer telethon. I wouldn't know this was Port's way to raise money to keep the game open without reading the entire post.

 

I know and I thought it would be confusing so that's one reason I wanted to make this post as well as to help new players to know about this interaction we get to have with the devs and the opportunities. Maybe I should make the title more clear.

I would like to see a $100k stretch goal added so they do not have to pull one out of thin air like on the last one. How about another 2 weeks of double xp "grins". We have new people in the game and plenty of returning players so the 100k stretch goal is possible. R/Boris/El Pirata.
