Details: Twice yesterday (when leaving Owl's Head, no less!) and just now from Novia, the client locked up at 99% when entering Hidden Vale.

I just had a 99% lock-up going into Blood River Outskirts. I had to do some stuff, so I let it sit for a few minutes just in case.
Note that is not a town, so player deco can't be the problem!

In case it matters, I went in the North Entrance

EDIT: and a second time, fresh launch, so can't be a memory leak problem

 

...and now twice trying to go into Kingsport, what the hell.

 

I'm still having trouble getting into BRO via the North Entrance. I even switched to party mode in case a particular player might have been the problem.

I did finally get in when I used the regular entrance. But I wanted to be in multi, so I switched modes. Stuck at 99% again!

 

I'm having this problem too. Did you find any way to overcome this bug? I'm completely locked out of the game. The last time this happened to me I was grouped with someone. I told him to punt me from the group and I was able to load to 100%, but this time I'm not in any group.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 GPU RAM: 3029 MB
Memory: 32768MB RAM

 

FYI I reduced my graphics settings from Fantastic to Beautiful (with no shadow distance) and the game works.

 

Possible cause: I just noticed that I had some orphaned map browser processes, 25GB, 11GB, and 6GB, possibly from when I had to kill the game from Task Manager. My hitching was starting to constantly go glitch in the matrix. Even changing scenes was taking forever.
