Found a few things that might point to the problem.
There seems to be two map urls for web browser log in.
    1. https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/map/?port_evt=login
    2. https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/map/sotanavigator.php?port_evt=login
Mine defaults to the first one.
Also, inside the file called sota_log I found this statement:
DllNotFoundException: ZFBrowser failed to load E:/SOTA/Shroud of the Avatar_Data/Plugins/ZFProxyWeb.dll: The specified module could not be found.
Checking inside the indicated folder I found the files ZFGameBroweser and ZFProxyWeb
I have already tried to add the ZFGameBroweser (the entire folder actually) to my AV (Windows Defender) exception list.
