That's not going to affect the problem. You can just as easily macro a mob, or 20 mobs. You can macro loot them too. Everyone should be familiar...
Make a good enough game that appeals to players who aren't even following the game closely and splitting up the population won't be an issue....
Not to derail, but those extremely difficult mobs need some better loot. A lot better.
That really doesn't make sense to me at all as a justification for requiring all builds to include a form of melee.
