1700 HP golems are guarding 2nd Elysium silver room

So I go to Elysium thinking killing this new brute of an Elemental would be something, and after fighting him for a couple minutes, I get 15 gold and 3 Obsidian chips?

That's the reward?



Do I hear balancing coming in 3... 2.... 1....

 

Ok. Third one was better. 15 gold, 3 obsidian chips and a potion of elemental resistance. This could be more profitable than I realized.

Let the Artifact drops begin!! ;-)

 

And 2500 experience?

 

So how many are down there and how quickly do they respawn? If 3 spawn every 5 minutes at 2500 xp then that a nice 90K xp an hour to go with the silver farming. If there is a shot at artifacts... bonus.

 

When I went down there last night there were three on the bottom level (accidentally aggro'd all three of them, I died). Someone further up the thread mentioned that they didn't see the Obsidians respawn when they spent an extended amount of time down there, not tried it myself yet.

 

I saw them respawning every few minutes repeatedly. There were at least 4 down there by the time I left. I had killed 3 when a 4th appeared. I suspect they are supposed to continually respawn from what I was seeing. I think I was down there like 10 to 15 minutes. Enough I felt to test things out.

 

Remember.. this is FUN... btw.. did you notice how much dmg your armor took? Maybe it was just me... I'll have to check again.. seems aror took a significant hit. On the plus side.. the Golems are easy once you figure them out

Edit: Maybe they'll drop arty's ? *shrug*

 

doesn't sound like fun to me .... what lvl are they? do you know.... I am only lvl 89. Will I as a pure archer with some buffs, be able to handle them, and can they be pulled 1 at a time, because I can only handle 1 at a time, unless they are the regular earth els, those I can take on 3 .... Just want to know before I ever go there ....

 

Though from the release notes feedback thread it seems they're taking them out.

Sorry, I forgot the /s regarding "fun"... just my snark I guess. My QA char is lvl 86 or 87 and they were orange to me. Fwiw I'm melee (halberd) and as I say, they were easy.. once I stopped "fighting" and instead chose a path of defense.
