Title: 2 Friends in Friends-Only Mode Unable to Teleport To Friend

Details: I found no post or anything in the known issues about this. A friend was unable to teleport to me using a Teleport To Friend scroll.
Steps to Reproduce: 2 Friends, on each others Friends list, are both online in Friends-Only mode. One friend uses a scroll to Teleport To Friend. Select the friend to go to and click the button. It will tell you that you are already in the same area, and there is no teleport. That was true only in that we were both in Novia; one player was in Solonia and the other on the overland map near Jaanaford and Penmawr Island. Friend exited town so both players were on the overland map but received the same message when attempting to teleport. Continuing the test, my friend went to the Hidden Vale (different area/continent) and tried again. I'm not sure what the message said, but it still refused the teleport. Next, we both logged in to Multi-player Online Mode and the teleport was allowed and worked. Shouldn't players who want to play in Friends-Only mode be able to teleport to a friend without having to change modes?

You didn't mention whether or not you were partied.
If you're both in "Friends Only" then it shouldn't matter (hopefully), but it does.
Try teleporting while being partied.

 

For this release, you can teleport to a friend (who doesn't have to be in your party) when you are both in multiplayer mode. In friends-only mode, you must be in a party with your friend in order to player together. As Frostll suggests, try partying with your friend and see if that clears up the issue.

 

No, we were not in a party yet. I agree that it shouldn't matter. Join up, then party up was the plan. Next time, we'll try it in reverse order. Thanks for the feedback!
