The "learn new skill" task from Leonard the Adventuring Trainer in Highvale is still in the Journal.

Is there something we need to do to clear the task?

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open up Journal
2) Observe "learn new skill" task from Leonard is still there

@Kron Caledon try talking to the NPC and asking the various keywords, such as "help", etc -- and see if that clears the quest marker?

Sometimes that helps.

 

@Echondas Yep - just went to Highvale Outskirts, talked to Leonard with the various keywords (including "help"), the task is still there (in live build 890).

I saw the fix for this mentioned for live patch 887 on 12/19/2018 - so I tested on patch 888 (and again just now on 890) - just verified the quest is still in the Journal. Maybe the fix you mentioned is in an upcoming patch? Thanks for looking into it when you get back!

• Highvale Outskirts: Because it’s redundant to a tutorial task, Leonard the Adventuring Trainer no longer grants the task requiring players to “Learn a new skill, then equip it.” Also, Leonard’s task will be automatically cleared from players who have it
