A GM in getting GMs..

First off this was about a Title for GMs and how many one has, not a list of your accomplishments or about draw for new players.

If you want to flaunt your conquests go for it, it doe nothing to affect how strong you are or give any imbalance.

As for a game that was supposed to have a "Skill Cap" that is gone, Master them all go for it strive for it. decks are what might have been limiting but you can have 10+ avail which could mean 120 different skills at the flip of a switch, so there is no longer a skill cap. and ask Chris you do not need to gm anything (LMAO).


Drawing new player - LoL that is a whole diff story - to some the ability to master everything is a draw to others it is a turn off. The real question is which ones will pay to play and will keep paying. The answer is the ones who want to GM them all, the others just walk away as you have seen.

So from a business POV they have stuck with what works.



BACK ON TOPIC - it affects not one person but the owner if they have a title that tells players how many gms they have or what they have GMed so go for it.

 

Doesn't 150+ cover More? How much more than 150 do you need to qualify for More?

 

Just make it 200+ and end it there.

 

My two GMs are only in Carpentry and Carpentry Salvage. I‘m a lover, not a fighter.

 

Since the Jan 4th livestream, this thread no longer matters. We are getting some kind of Legendary title at level 150, so that's going to be the ultimate measuring contest now, not dime a dozen GMs.

 

How about a reward for hitting 1 GM in the form of a Title for that GM. This world lacks Titles. We could even come up with them as a community.

 

This post is amazing, I sure would like to see skill based titles, and even a display for legendary skills.

 

My two cents;

1) GM - 120

2)Legendary-150

3)Epic - 200 - Cap it there.

4)Cap adventurer level at 160 then raise cap by 10 for each successive episode.

5) Once legendary (150) in a tree have 10 pct dmg/crafting bonus to all skills in that tree.

Already have 150 bladed combat and would like to see more benefits for the effort and time investment.

And 100 = M "Master". GMs become Masters. 120s become the new Grandmasters.
Makes a lot more sense and a lot more interesting
