    Problem solved!

    I have decided to experiment with a fixed deck, I have over 100 in all the blade tree skills.

    In my deck I can charge Rend, Coupe de Grace and Whirling Blades - but NOT Thrust or Double Slash... why is this? Also, Whirling Blades only appear to charge to three - not five.

    I put together another melee fixed deck to test against it - Bludgeon.... every one of those skills charged to the max (of my abilities anyway - I only have a few GMs there)

    Can anyone explain why Blades is like this please?

    The only reason I can think of is if you accidentally still have some of your thrust and double slash glyphs in with drawn glyphs. For each glyph of something you have in drawn, it subtracts 1 from your max locked stack, and if all of a glyph is in the drawn pile, it can't be added as a locked glyph at all.

    @Lazlo

    Thank you! That solved the problem.

    So many things to consider, I didn't even think of checking that.

    It also has the opposite effect - ie if you have 1 locked glyph in the deck you can only get 4 rolling ones and their focus cost I think is upped so always have the move either locked or rolling, not both Imo.
