A Royal Perspective on Release 1

Greeting fellow settlers of New Britannia!

For four hundred years, our lands have suffered, since the calamity of the fall. It is wonderful to see inter-world travelers such as yourselves beginning to return to our lands, now called New Britannia! While it is true, that your return was brief, and the status of the world was, shall we say “thin”, it was none the less, a huge milestone, in the rebirth of the restoration of the lands to that which many of us may remember from decades past.

I hope too, that you could see, that the new world, will not just be a nostalgic look back at whence we came, but also a bold step into the future, in many ways. New features such as methods of interacting with the people of our lands will both harken to the past, yet move into a future that retains the best of the past, while fixing some of the unfortunate transgressions found in other lands you may have visited of late.

In addition, I hope you will appreciate the advancements, some learned from the clever Kobolds that have immerged in recent years, their mechanical abilities, and control of the electrical aether have become prized in some of the major cities throughout New Britannia, though these advancements you will rarely find in places farther afield.

But, most of all, I want to thank YOU for joining with us, on this amazing journey. We are forging this world for you, your friends your community. Without your early participation, we could not do it. Your early backing of our endeavors has already meant so much. Your early visits to the new world, are essential for us to refine the way we present it to you and others in the future.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for all you have done for New Britannia!

I look forward to adventuring with you in the months and years ahead in New Britannia.
