Account transitions - IP redirect turned off?

    Berek said they are at SWSX, which I assume is a gaming conference or something alike.

    So he's answering from his mobile phone, and understand this was very bad timing... so he said he will get on it on monday !

    I will try.... Roll out is in 9 days. So much to do and so little time. Have been asking the same questions for over a week though.

    Side note: port might want to consider the possibility that the reason people keep making these public posts when you keep asking them to do it privately is because they have reason to believe that public pressure is the only leverage they have.

    I've edited the title to be more specific to the question you have here.

    Yes, we are looking into this as an option. If anyone is stuck in these territories and feel that their redirect to the Black Sun site is a mistake, please contact support and we'll absolutely look into it.


    Yes, but unfortunately we can't help in all these cases when they are public. It only delays our response :(.

    Yes and an opt out options should be considered for players too. Please say it is possible for those who do not want to use this site. If a player starts there perhaps that is one thing but to be taken away from where you have been for months even years is another thing altogether. No one knows the whole story I understand this but not knowing it causes so much worry.

    An opt out might not be possible due to the contracts they made with Blacksun and Travian , but only Port has those details.

    I'd add a question mark to the end so it's actually a question. Some people might see the title and assume the redirect is off.

    I have heard from Berek and am willing to hold off on all comments and PMs for a bit. They are going to have a private deep dive (my words not his) on Monday to see what can be done. I am hopeful that something can be done quickly and we will hear Tuesday or Wednesday. I do know that this is overwelming them with support tickets and taking up a lot of their time that they should be using to get ready for release. For the moment that is all I know but it is really good to hear something. My personal opinion is that this could have been easier if instead of posting non helpful comments and locking threads the community support people could have posted the steps they were taking or thinking about to resolve the issue. That is not a dig at Berek or any of the support staff, I know they are very busy and this was a big surprise when it went live. But Nothing works better to calm fears than communicating.

    I personally and I am sure many others are with you on supporting this game and the efforts of the staff!

    Did any of you ever occurre that not talking about the 3rd party support in the forum might be part of the contract?

    They could have stated as much and left the first thread about this open. They repeated everywhere that they couldn't talk about SeedInvest tombstone information. Of course they used that excuse to lock threads about that as well.

    Listen, i can understand part of the fuzz and i can't understand another part of it.
    But one thing is sure: not playing by the repeatedly posted rules will only invoke moderation which won't be good for both sides.
    So, what about trying to handle a topic in a calm manner. For once.

    Drawing a correlation between the two. SeedInvest they told us why they couldn't talk about certain things, and locked threads. With data to Black Sun, and whatever other third party, if it is in the contract, they could have stated as much once again, "We can't discuss this specific set of items publicly here because of contract." instead of giving prior non-answers and locking threads. So if it is in Black Sun contract, just like it is in SeedInvest, why could they tell us why for one, and not the other? That is all I'm stating.

    I can come up with a couple of reasons from the top of my head. First one being that it's part of the contract not to say it's part of the contract ;-)
    Sounds strange but isn't as unusual as one may think.

    Please note that if you are living within one of these territories and using an IP that identifies you as living in one of those territories, we need you to please contact support@bs-gp.com.
