Allow Remote Banks and Mailboxes etc To Be Public

Allow more items such as remote banks and other interactables to be public.

Would like to have an option @everyone as guest available on the lot.

 

Mailboxes are public when placed on a player owned town and not on a lot. If you live in a player owned town you can ask the governor to place some around the town. I did this in Wizards Rest. Not sure about remote banks since I don't have one to try.

 

Might be cheaper to buy a banker from another town owner who has extra to place it.

Guest access to a lot allows the guest to access the remote bank.

 

+1 At the very least, tenants/kindred/etc should be able to use Mailboxes, Remote Banks and Practice Dummies placed on a lot.

 

I was surprised to learn Practice Dummies and Mailboxes were not accessible by everyone. Without some help that is. At least the Dummies should be available to anyone who wants to use them.

 

Dummies can only be used by lot owners. Even co-owners can’t use them. Hence players have been asking them for years.

 

That’s only partly true. The lot owner needs to be present to activate the dummy, butt anybody can then use them.

Why?

Because of the tech used behind the scenes. The tech is tightly coupled to the lot’s owner so that it can run as an NPC.

 

Practice dummies are a very personal thing
