ambient noise vs general sfx

    Any chance of separating out the volume controls for ambient noise such as birds, walking noise, wind, to put them in a different control to general sound fx? I find that the level of noise for general fx is so high that I can't hear my character walking, and if i turn up the volume enough to hear his footfalls, opening a door gives the neighbour at the end of the street a heart attack :D

    Just a general thought :)

    I noticed that the Attack/Spells sound effects are super loud compared to ambient sounds. Doors are another thing that doesn't seem to be properly balanced. A lot of the combat sound effects seem to vary greatly in regards to Db's. Would be nice if they balance out the Db's of sounds to within 5 Db's of each other and seperate Combat sounds from all other sounds.
